Touch panel:
Definition and application

A touch panel or touch screen is an input and output device in which the program sequence of a device can be controlled by touching it. It is also used to visualize data and states. Instead of a mouse pointer, the finger or a pen is used for the operation. With the CeraCode® all-in-one solution, a touch panel is used as a human-machine interface to control the system. For more information see Human-Machine Interface.
